What does a Biokineticist do ?

We provide exercise rehabilitation through a methodical, clinical and biomechanical perspective.  We use measurable outcomes in each phase and provide constant communication.  Interventions are focused on the cause of a problem, rather than the symptoms, through accurate evaluation and decision-making processes.  We have a multi-dimensional and dynamic focus, and by using the inter-disciplinary team approach, progressive return to activity is achieved.

We have established fundamental structural and progressive methods in provide structure to your rehabilitation and progress toward your individual goals.

We introduce a structured and goal-directed programme, which focuses on your individual strengths and weaknesses and use these to enable progressive return to normal function.

Biokineticists specialise in the rehabilitation of any type of orthopedic or neuromuscular injuries, and discomfort driven by incorrect movement patterns (biomechanics). This can be effectively evaluated through extensive isolated and functional testing, and corrected through evidence-based programming.

We provide several services that include:

  • Injury assessment
  • Injury prevention
